Indian has rich floristic and ethnic diversity and harbours about 45,000 plant species. The ethnic diversity is represented by more than 400 tribal groups, which account for about 7.5% population. The knowledge of Plant usages for medicare is a useful tribal traditions and potent source for development of drugs.
