The present volume of the Annals of the Botanic Garden, Calcutta, Consist of two parts. The first part contains descriptions of one hundred and one species of Indian orchids. The second consists of descriptions of critical Indian species of Ranunculaceae. Eighty three species of new and little known Indo-Malayan plants- Thalamifloral are also included. A figure is given of each species described in both parts.
