DESCRIPTION
This book draws upon a survey of research done by the physiology department of the Dorschkamp Research Institute for Forestry and landscape Planning Wagningen on the genera Pseudotsuga, Alnus, Platanus, Quercus, Salix, Populus and Ulmus. Techniques are described for our organ or tissue types: bud, embryo, meristem, and callus. The subsequent phases of tissue culture are described for all species, stressing technological barriers and avoiding the usual attention for only axillary budding.
