DESCRIPTION |
 |
The book presents an account on biodiversity and vegetation of Pachmarhi hills located in Satpura Ranges in Central India. This famous hill station is rich as far as biodiversity is concerned. An account of Bryophytic, pteridophytic angiospermic flora has been presented with an emphasis on rare, endangered and threatened plants. The causes for the decline of vegetation, and conservation have been discussed with ecological and biotechnological approach.
This is a useful work for those who are interested in the biodiversity of Pachmarhi hills. |
