DESCRIPTION
Jinacarita of Vanaratana Medhankara Thera, 13th Century, of Ceylon is one of the few narrative poems available in Pali. The theme of the poem is as usual the life of the Buddha and his teachings. The poem comprises four hundred seventy-two verses written in classical metres and ornate style.
